Today we have started Samoa language week. We have learnt the colours and I did in on a google slide. I did the words in Samoa and next to it in English.

Term 2 goal reflection
Term 2 goals reflection goals. I have been improving on adding more descriptive words and my paragraph in my writing. I have gotten better at my descriptive by adding similes and metaphors to my writing. I have achieved my reading goal which was sounding out word and go back and reread the sentence again.
My new writing goal is to pot more onomatopoeia and personification.
My new reading goal is to read more smooth and not have pause is in middle of a sentence.
My goal to get better at time management and doing my work and not getting distracted.
My new goal in math is to get better at my algebra and mean.

In Te Reo Māori we did a short conversation in Maori. Me and Angus. The conversation was Me tena koe Angus tena koe Me Kei te pehea koe? Angus kei pai ahau. Me koe?Angus kei te pehea koe? Me kai Hiamoe au Augus ke te haere koe ki hea?Me Ki nga toa. Me koe. Then in Maori we siad we we where from how old are we.

Mount Hikurangi is the first place to see the sun. The closest place to mount Hikurangi is city of Whangarei is 17 km. Pink Shirt Day 2021
Today it is pink shirt day is is for anti-bullying and to promote anti-bullying, kindness and inclusiveness. So at school we have to wear something pink to school and a gold coin donation. Pink shirt day started in Canada in 2007.
Running the NZ in a week
We had to writ about Running New Zealand in a week are how school was do it. They are highlighted because it show went they are like simile is highlighted yellow and my writing was about what it was like for me to running the school.
Today at Rawhtit school we are doing a run around the school. The cold
winter bezz was as cold as Antarctica but we started the run. I could hear
footsteps that were louder than a zooas me and Reuben went around the first playground. When I got to the second
playground I heard my heart boom andmy breath was as short as an ant but Rueben encouraged me to
keep going. As we got to the bike track the cold bezz was punching my lungs.
As we were on the second lap we were getting tired but we kept on going.
The silps and splash from my shoes hitting the mud. I could feel the sweat
caming down my face. You can see peaple fapping like whales behind you.
As we were three laps as tired as a bear in hibernation. I was in the lead but
Reuben got in front of me at the second playground. Then as we got to the
spider web I clamb it for 2 to 3 seconds then I start to run again.
as me and Reuben went around the first playground.

Yesterday in math I was working finding the range. The range is the highest number takeaway the lowest number so 6,8,13,15,18,22 and 25 it is 25-6=19 because 25 is the highest and 6 is the lowest number.

Today we went to tētahi. It was as cold as the winter breeze but I still went into the water to do some
swimming. You can see the driftwood on the beach from the storm from last night. Then it got colder
and colder so I went back up onto the sand to make a sandcastle. The clouds are as dark as the
night sky. The wind was howling like a wolf and the sandcastle is finished. The wind was as cold as
Antarctica but decided not to go home. I could hear the debris screaming as it went across the sand
for the high winds. The sea gulls are as loud as a zoo but it got too cold so I went home.

On Monday we did BEDMAS the B stand for brackets the E stands for exponents the D stands for division the M stands for multiplication the S stands for subtraction. You they to do it in the order for bracket to subtraction.
2+3-(5x2) = -5
You do the 5x2= 10 because for the bracket and you do the 2+3 =5 - 10 = -5
