Why do animals migrate the wildebeest migration takes place in Eastern Africa more than a million wildebeest migrate during this. The wildebeest migrate for food and water. Fish migrate to have babies in the lakes like salmon go from the ocean all the way up stream to lakes to have babies. birds migrate for many miles to get to one place to get food have water and also have babies.
